Tour Plan
Your adventure begins in Nairobi, where a Stawi Adventures representative will warmly welcome you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After a brief orientation, you’ll drive south toward Amboseli National Park, a journey that takes about 4–5 hours through Kenya’s scenic countryside.
Upon arrival at your chosen safari lodge in Amboseli, enjoy a hot lunch with panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain. Later in the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Amboseli, renowned for its large elephant herds, open plains, and spectacular views of the mountain.
Overnight: Amboseli Lodge or Tented Camp
Meals: Lunch, Dinner
Start your day with an early morning game drive, when wildlife is most active. Amboseli is famed for its elephants with long tusks, often seen in large groups wandering through marshes and savannah.
After breakfast, return to the lodge for relaxation or a swim before heading out again for an afternoon safari. Sightings include lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and a wide array of birds.
Optional activities include:
-
Visit to a Maasai village to learn about local culture and traditions.
-
A sundowner at a scenic viewpoint.
Overnight: Amboseli Lodge or Tented Camp
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, check out and begin the scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, passing through the Great Rift Valley with its stunning escarpments and landscapes.
Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya’s best locations to see white and black rhinos, as well as large flocks of flamingos lining the lake’s edges. Other wildlife includes Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, and waterbucks.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive as you arrive, followed by dinner at your lodge with views of the lake or surrounding forest.
Overnight: Lodge near Lake Nakuru
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After a leisurely morning and breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and drive to the Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most iconic wildlife destination.
Arrive in time for an evening game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, home to the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. The Mara is also the setting for the Great Wildebeest Migration (July–October), making it one of the best safari destinations in the world.
Overnight: Luxury or mid-range camp in Maasai Mara
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Spend the day exploring the vast plains of the Maasai Mara on two game drives—one in the early morning and another in the late afternoon. Spot large prides of lions, elusive leopards, and herds of elephants roaming the savannah.
Optional activity:
-
Hot air balloon safari at dawn followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush (pre-booking required).
You’ll also have the chance to explore riverine forests and see hippos and crocodiles in the Mara River.
Overnight: Tented Camp in Maasai Mara
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Enjoy a full-day safari with a picnic lunch, venturing deeper into the Mara ecosystem. Choose between the main reserve or a visit to a nearby conservancy for a more exclusive game drive experience.
In the afternoon, consider a guided walking safari or a visit to a Maasai village to understand the unique bond between people and wildlife.
Overnight: Maasai Mara Camp or Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Wake up for one final sunrise game drive, your last chance to catch a glimpse of a lion on the hunt or a cheetah sprint across the plains. After breakfast, begin your journey back to Nairobi with a stop for lunch en route.
Upon arrival in Nairobi in the late afternoon or early evening, you’ll be dropped at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
