Welcome to Stawi Adventures! By accessing or using our website (www.stawiadventures.com), booking our safari tours, or engaging with any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, kindly refrain from using our website or services.


1. About Us

Stawi Adventures is a registered tour operator based in Kenya, specializing in curated safari experiences, cultural tours, beach holidays, and adventure travel across Kenya and East Africa. Our mission is to offer unforgettable, sustainable, and safe travel experiences that showcase the best of Kenya’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.

2. Booking and Payments

2.1 Booking Process

To confirm a booking, you must complete the booking form available on our website or via email and pay the required deposit as outlined in your booking confirmation.

2.2 Deposit and Balance Payments

  • A 40% deposit of the total tour price is required to secure your booking.
  • The balance (60%) is due 60 days prior to your tour start date.
  • For bookings made within 60 days of the tour start date, full payment is required immediately.

Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods communicated to you upon booking.


3. Cancellations and Refunds

3.1 Cancellation by the Client

  • More than 60 days before the tour: Full refund minus 5% administrative fee.
  • 30 to 59 days before the tour: 50% refund.
  • Less than 30 days before the tour: No refund.

All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email.

3.2 Cancellation by Stawi Adventures

In the unlikely event that Stawi Adventures cancels your tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., force majeure), we will offer either:

  • A full refund of all monies paid, or
  • An alternative tour of equivalent value.

4. Travel Insurance

All clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal liability, loss of luggage, and other potential risks. Stawi Adventures is not liable for any costs incurred due to insufficient insurance coverage.


5. Health and Safety

Clients must ensure they are in good health and physically fit for the booked safari or adventure activities. Certain destinations may require vaccinations or health precautions. It is the client’s responsibility to consult with a healthcare provider regarding any necessary medical preparations.

Stawi Adventures adheres to strict safety protocols for all tours. However, clients participate at their own risk, and Stawi Adventures is not liable for personal injury, illness, or loss unless due to negligence on our part.


6. Responsibilities of the Client

  • Provide accurate personal information during booking.
  • Adhere to all instructions from guides and tour leaders during the trip.
  • Respect wildlife, local cultures, and the environment during all activities.

Stawi Adventures reserves the right to remove any client from a tour if their behavior jeopardizes the safety, enjoyment, or wellbeing of other participants, staff, wildlife, or local communities. No refund will be issued in such cases.


7. Changes to Itinerary

While we strive to operate all tours as advertised, Stawi Adventures reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, political instability, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances. Any significant changes will be communicated to clients promptly, and alternative arrangements of similar quality will be provided.


8. Liability Disclaimer

Stawi Adventures acts only as an agent for hotels, airlines, vehicle operators, and other service providers. We are not liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay, or irregularity arising from the acts or omissions of these providers. However, we will assist in resolving any issues to the best of our ability.

We shall not be held responsible for any loss, injury, or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or changes in government regulations.


9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, videos, and logos, is the property of Stawi Adventures and is protected under copyright laws. No part of this content may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our prior written consent.


10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.


11. Updates to These Terms

Stawi Adventures reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
